Postgraduate studies

 Hello everyone.

Today I'm going to tell you about some postgraduate courses that, I would like to take in the future.

I have not really thought about this much, but pediatric dentistry calls my attention, since there are many children with different capacities, that I would love to attend. 

As I would also love to study oral rehabilitation, since I love to see the change that a simple smile can generate for a person who has wanted it so much.

I would also like to study forensic dentistry, since I love researching.

I would like to study in Chile, but if I have the possibility to study in a European country like Germany, I would be very happy.

I would like to study with a mixed system if it is here in Chile, so as not to neglect my patients. But if it is abroad, you could see the possibility of just studying.

Blog 5. A photograph and its story

 

Hello everyone.

Today I am going to tell you a little about a photograph that reminds me a lot of vacation times.

I took this photo and it was on the way to the beach.

 

We were on the bus with my mother and my little brother. He was sleepy so he fell asleep on the floor. This was very funny because he didn't want us to carry him on the seat.

I like this photograph because it reminds me of the beautiful moments we have spent with my brother and my mother. I always like to go with them on vacation, I like that we get out of the routine and enjoy a beautiful landscape.

Now that we are in a pandemic, I would love to be able to go out with them again, obviously with all the necessary precautions.

Blog 4. Family.

Hello everyone!!! This is my new blog, I hope you like it.

I chose this theme because for me my inspiration is my family, I always think about the future and I see myself moving forward with it.

For me it is very important because with my family I have had the best moments and I would like to give that back. I would like in the future to help them with a better life, to be able to travel with them, to have a lot of empathy with them, helping them in whatever they need.

My family has always helped me and in my career too. Because of this, I always think about my future with them. They have taught me many things, among those things empathy and if I have a good situation, I would like to help people who need it.

Very grateful to my family and the people who have supported me in the process of my career.

 

  

Blog 3. My Favorite Piece of Technology.

When I was very young, cell phones caught my attention, one day my father bought me one of those old cell phones with a keyboard, I was very excited and listened to music on the radio. 

Whenever a song sounded that I liked to record it, and then listen to it.When I started working in 2018 I saved money to buy a cell phone, I really liked it because it was something that with my effort I could get.

Over time I got my second cell phone and it is the one I have until today. I have loved it, since I can communicate with my family, listen to music, watch videos or movies, watch classes, etc.

I use it frequently, since with studies it makes many things easier for me.

What I like the most is watching series or movies at night.

My life without my cell phone may be a bit complicated, but if I have my computer there is no problem and also if I am busy in something that does not require technology or a place outdoors I do not need my cell phone.

Blog 2. Dreams and Studies

 Hello everyone, today I will tell you a little about my dreams and studies.

Since I was little I always liked talking to people. I hardly ever thought about the future, since I only thought about playing. 

When I was in school, I thought about many careers, such as accounting, sociology, and law. But I finally realized that I wanted a career where I can help people, see them smile, talk to people, be able to contribute a grain of sand.

There I thought of a career in dentistry. I hope to finish these years of studies with a lot of learning to be able to give the best possible care to my patients. My university experience has been very good, I have met many people and teachers who are really very good at what they do.

My dreams for the future are to work a few years in public health, then create a practice and move to the south of the country helping people who need it. 

Another of my dreams is to have my own house, to travel the world.

Antonia Morales

 Hello there my name is Antonia, I have 2 brothers. His name is Jaime and the other Mariano. My mom's name is Ester and my father Claudio. 

I finished my high school studies at a municipal school.  I studied accounting, but I really didn't like sitting in a chair with a computer all the time. This is why I decided to look for a career where I could be in contact with people, so I came to choose dentistry.

My favorite hobbies are going out to any place, be it a park, beach, hill, mall or restaurants. I also love playing with my little brother. 

I love to watch series, movies and documentaries. 

This last documentary, I saw left me very sad. It is a real case, that happened very recently in the United States.

Moments that marked my life.

The birth of my younger brother was the best. My family's way of life changed a lot, the house no longer felt empty, there was a creature that brightened the corridors with its cries, laughter, blows, etc.

One summer day I received an email saying that I should stay in the dentistry career at the University of Chile. I was very happy about that, I said that effort was worth it, but this should only be the beginning of something big in the future.
